Hello, I’m Kim. Welcome to my blog where I love to share DIY ideas. How to decorate your home on a budget and all things life! I’m a momma to 4 amazing children and a ‘Mimi’ to 7 adorable grand babes. They fill my days with sunshine!

I started this blog as a creative outlet. Hoping to encourage others that you can love your home, make it cozy no matter what your budget is. Nate Berkus said exactly how I feel about home in his quote;

Your home should tell the story of who you are, and be a collection of what you love.”

Don’t you agree? Home = Comfort and should be filled with things that you love!

Even when I was younger I would constantly rearrange my room. Rearranging refreshed my space and made it feel new even though I wasn’t adding anything to it.

You don’t have to spend a lot of money to make your home look amazing. I hope you will find inspiration in this little blog of mine. Create spaces on a budget, gardening, diy’s and find ways to live a simple, comfortable life. Over the years, I have helped friends and family find ways to fill their homes with things they love. A Little Bit About Me

• I was born in Colorado. I love the mountains and have so many great memories of spending time in the beautiful Rocky Mountains! My family moved to South Dakota when I was 12.
• A few years after I got married, Arizona became home for my little family. We lived there for 5 years and then ended up moving back ‘home’ to South Dakota.
• I am a cancer survivor!! 24 years and going! Thank you Lord Jesus!!
• I love a good cup of coffee to warm me in the cold months and a great cup of cold brew when the temps rise.
• I love DIY’s, I am always doing something creative.
• I am a quiet gal .. on the shy side .. until you get to know me.
• Relaxation for me is getting cozy with a good book! I love big books I cannot lie.
• I love big loud thunderstorms, the smell of rain and the outdoors!!
• Flea Markets and Thrift Stores are an adventure for me. I love the hunt, you never know what you’ll find.
• My family is my everything, my kids and grandbabes are my treasures! I love them more than anything in this world.
• Most importantly is my relationship with Jesus Christ. Without Him I would be nothing.
